Juvenile Referrals 

The Johnson County Juvenile Office provides services to juveniles and families through referrals. These referrals come from three main avenues. 

  • Law Enforcement Referrals, after having contact with law enforcement a referral may be sent to our office for a law violation. 
  • School Referrals, referrals received from schools include truancy and educational neglect they can also include minor law violations, including tobacco violations.
  • Parent Referral, as a parent or guardian you can request the help of the juvenile office in regard to your child's behaviors at home, school, or in the community. 

About Us

The Johnson County Juvenile Office services 833 square miles of rural Missouri. We provide services and resources to at risk youth within the county. Our programs include Diversion, Informal, and Formal Services. These services include online classes for Anger Management, Marijuana and Drug Prevention, Conflict Resolution and more. We also offer separate in person classes for Young Men and Women. In these classes they focus on topics of Self Awareness, Relationships, Communication, and Personal Safety. We are committed to building stronger families and capable children in Johnson County, Missouri.
